Dear Friends, 

Thank you for making 2018 yet another memorable year for our organization!

Over 5,400 people attended our year-round programs in San Diego and Encinitas with 37 screenings, a third of which followed by expert’s panels or Q/A, and daily interactions with our community igniting dialogue and starting new collaborations.

Movies are the means; cultural sharing is our goal. By bringing the best in Italian movies we do our share to maintain a diverse and vibrant cultural offering for our city, but our mission is broader than that. Just like an Italian “piazza” we offer a stimulating space for people to bring their own perspective, connect to others, share stories, and preserve differences, while at the same time, recognizing our common needs and desires. Through your engagement and participation, we are able to share these experiences, so thank you for being a part of SDIFF!

The arts are an integral part of human nature, we hope you’ll stick with us in 2019 to discover where its force will drive us together towards a more than ever sense of community that goes beyond any type of border as we keep expanding our programs and reach.
